5th Annual MacLeod Invitational

"Hi everyone the 5th Annual MacLeod Invitational is coming up (May 26th). There are a couple of teams registered already. Jim and Kevin are talking about putting in a team again this year to defend their trophy, but word is that Brad Pineau might be on their team. Good luck guys. Guy Robichaud is itching to reclaim the trophy he won last year. And I have put together a great team of female golfers.

We are excited about this years tournament, we are expecting it to be the biggest yet. There will be a first place trophy, and a tail end award, Skill prizes: long drive(men and women), long put, short drive, and closest to the pin(men and women), and door prizes(if anyone would like to donate to the door prizes contact me at rodney@glasseyerod.com).

Look forward to seeing lots out this year.."...

Trivial Things

"I love trivia!

I am the guy that spouts off useless information all the time.

If you mentioned Vancouver Canucks, I might mention they play at the only arena in the NHL that does not use a Zamboni.

Some times I just spout off trivia out of the blue with no discernable association to what the conversation is.

I was a member of a quite successful trivia team at The Wave of UPEI (Which I have been told holds the distinction of being the first internet domain with the extension .ca)."...

Play on Words

"Dwayne and I started up a competition last year we played Jumble almost every day keeping track of our times in a spread sheet and had all sorts of statistics generated like average times winning streaks, best time and solved percentages. Dwayne started off strong, but I ended up beating him by quite a margin.

We kept all of our stats in an Excel spreadsheet part way through the year we discovered Google spreadsheets and moved it all over there, which worked great until around October when we exceeded Google's limit for formulas and we went back to using excel."...

"You may have noticed the link to The Movie Blog on the right. It is a great blog about movies. I get caught up on all of the latest movie news here. They have a weekly podcast that I listen to. The guys of the Audio Edition are hilarious. Warning: Doug is often very offensive. There is some adult language and adult themes, but no scenes of people smoking.

You Can't Fit a Round Peg in a Square Hole

"Unless it is a small round peg and big square hole.

Toothbrushes have been evolving for quite some time now. They advertise all types of new toothbrush heads. Flex heads, rubber bristles, varying heights of bristles and mixed stiffnesses on the same brush. These advancements are all great. All designed to to make a better brushing experience.

Something that changed that they do not advertise that has effected my life the most is the handle. The handle on toothbrushes has grown in girth. I assume this is to provide a more comfortable grip while brushing. The problem is the people who design toothbrush holder do not seem to realize that toothbrush handles are wider than they used to be."...
