Under the G 46
February 23, 2005 at 4:50 pm AST by Rodney MacLeod

Last night I did something that I have not done since I was a little kid. Kent, Lisa, Paul, Sarah and I went to bingo. The last time I went people were still using bingo chips. The dabbers were fun. A little messy if you were sitting next to Sarah

This was not a night spent with 200 old women. This night was spent with the PEI women’s hockey team who were trying to raise money for some tournament. Paul (who actually plays bingo with old 200 old women) invited us to go out and support his girlfriend and their team.

Dorks-Gone-Wild
February 16, 2005 at 9:26 am AST by Rodney MacLeod

Did you ever watch a TV show, see a web address and run to your computer to see if there is an actual website. Well I do sometimes. A couple of weeks ago the simpsons had an e[isode where homer makes an ass of himself in public and the video ends up on the internet. Comic Book Guy (you actually find out his real name in this episode) puts the video up on his website www.dorks-gone-wild.com. Anyway it is pretty neat. The site looks the same as it did in the epsiode and it has the video. Unfortunately it does not have the other videos of dorks gone wild.

I saw Nothing
February 11, 2005 at 2:48 pm AST by Rodney MacLeod

I saw Nothing the other night and I enjoyed it. Nothing is a Canadaian movie directed by the same guy who directed the great Canadian movie Cube. The movie is very weird. It is about two social rejects who find out they can make thinks disappear at will. The two run around freaked out for a bit in a white screen of nothing until they figure out whats going on and accept it. Worth a rent if you liked Cube. If you do or did see this and like it, then I recommend you also see Cube.

Super Super Bowl Sunday
February 7, 2005 at 12:02 pm AST by Rodney MacLeod

Last night was Super Bowl Sunday and we had our annual Super Bowl Party. I do not think this was our biggest, but to see the food that was there you would think it was. We had chilli thanks to Dwayne. Jared brought his plattter of burgers from McDonalds. The were wings, a KFC sports bucket, loads of chips and nachos, a couple of McCains cakes. I Think I will be eating left over chilli for the rest of the week.

Paul set up a pool just for fun where we made prediction on such things as the coin toss, half time score, final score, first timeout, and first penalty. It was close all around, but Ashley and Dwayne ended up in a tie for first with ten.

It was a great night. I stuffed my face, and I think I even watched most of the game.

Safe Within
February 7, 2005 at 11:44 am AST by Rodney MacLeod

Frank, Breck, Dwayne and I spent a couple of hours Sunday afternoon out in the snow fortifying the house. If you drive down Kirkwood Drive you will now see a five foot wall surrounding the front of our house.

***Update***

I just made a quick gallery for the more pictures of our barrier. Click here.
