Evil Mule Java
November 17, 2004 at 4:38 pm AST by Rodney MacLeod

It seems there is a new Coffee shop that is franchising across the United States and they are relying on public outcry against their name to drum them up great publicity. Bad A$$ Coffee has opened their first shop in Chicago and this has spurred another Illinois town to condemn the company name. The town council of Antioch took a stand and has condemned the name. I think that it is great that they took a stand, although I am not sure what condemning the name does or means legally. Antioch is probably a small town that Bad A$$ Coffee would never open. I know this may be an innocent enough word for their company name; they do say that it is a reference to the donkeys that haul the coffee, so why dot Bad Donkey, or Stubborn Mule. There is enough out there corrupting the kids of the world, why do we need profanity in big letters adorning the front’s businesses for everyone to see. I don’t mean to sound like a prude, but young children are impressionable and can not discern the difference between a donkey and profanity. There is no need to confuse these children. If the coffee is good it will succeed on its own. I am not sure, but I assume that a steady slower growth is better than a very quick growth that it will be doing with the publicity that the name brings it.

i dont think ass is PROFANITY. now Bad Fucking Coffee now that may be considered profanity by some. little kids should'nt drink coffee it's bad for them. tell the little kids to stay the fuck away from the coffee shops. no good will come of hanging around drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes.
