Kong is King
November 12, 2004 at 3:02 pm AST by Rodney MacLeod

Many of you know that the genius that brought us the Lord of the Rings trilogy is working on a remake of King Kong. Well he thought that you might like to know how it was going so he created a blog. I believe that all of his entryies are on video. I have not looked around too much yet, but it does look and sound pretty cool. There is a link to it here and over on the side menu.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen, before I tell you any more, I'm going to show you the greatest thing your eyes have ever beheld. He was a king and a god in the world he knew, but now he comes to civilization merely a captive--a show to gratify your curiosity. Ladies and gentlemen, look at Kong, the Eighth Wonder of the World!"

Anybody know that quote?

"Ladies and gentlemen! In his native land he was a King! But he comes before you in chains for your own amusement! Presenting Homer! The Eighth Wonder of the World!"

Anybody know that quote?

I think you guys are missing the point of this thread. you're supposed to say where the quote came from, THEN you get to post a quote of your own. Don't you people know how to use the internet????
