DecemberLord of the Rings MarathonDecember 12, 2004 at 5:46 pm AST by Rodney MacLeodI have been anxiously waiting for December 14th. Return of the King extended version comes out on DVD. I will be watching it that night. Dwayne will be home some time shortly after that and he has yet to watch any of the trilogy in their extended version, so some of us will set aside a whole day for watching them. There will be a few other friends that will be home around that time to watch it also. It should be a very interesting 12 hours. I have yet to have a movie sequel marathon, although I have often talked about doing it with other movies in a series.
I am excited to watch the extended version of the Return of the King. I am really hoping that Peter Jackson put the Scouring of the Shire in the movie, but I have seen a trailer for the extended movie and there are no signs that it might be there.
